Postdoctoral Fellow

We currently have funding available for a postdoctoral fellow to start in January 2017 until 31 July 2018. This project is related to the development of nanomachines capable of modulating the immune system for cancer therapy. A Ph.D. degree with relevant research experience in the following areas will be preferred:

  • Develop and characterization of nanomaterials
  • Cellular immunology
  • Cancer studies involving animals

Interested candidates are to send your CV, together with a cover letter and contact information for 3 referees to Dr. James Kah. This position will remain opened until filled.

Research Engineer

We currently have a vacancy for a Research Engineer/Research Assistant with Bachelors or Masters degree to start in January 2017. The candidate will work on projects in the lab related to the development of nanomedicine for diagnosis and treatment of diseases. He or She will also be involving in managing day-to-day administration and operations in the lab. Candidates with relevant research experience and publication(s) in preparation and characterization of nanomaterials, cell studies and animal studies, as well as interest to continue pursuing a Ph.D. in the same lab will be preferred. Interested candidates are to send your CV, together with a cover letter and contact information for 3 referees to Dr. James Kah. This position will remain opened until filled.

Ph.D. Candidates

We welcome interested candidates to do your Ph.D. with us in the field of nanomedicine and/or nanorobotics. To indicate your interest, please send your CV, together with a one-page research proposal to Dr. James Kah. Candidates can also apply directly to the NUS Department of Biomedical Engineering for admission into the Ph.D. programme. Scholarships with stipends are available.
